# Partner MCP tools

> What the agent can look up for you through the partner MCP server.

The agent picks the tool and fills in its inputs. You ask in plain words. This
page lists what is there, so you know what to ask. Every tool only reads.

## Companies and orders

| `whoami` | Which mode am I in? The agent calls it first and tells you whether it is reading the sandbox or real data. |
| `list_companies` | Which companies do we have, or which are in a given status? |
| `get_company` | Where is this company in formation, and what do we hold on it? |
| `list_service_orders` | What was bought for this company, and where is each order? |
| `list_events` | What changed on our account today? The same events your webhooks deliver. |
| `preview_company_price` | What would a Delaware LLC with an EIN cost us? |

`preview_company_price` quotes the whole basket at your own rates, state fees
included. A bundle can price lower than its products added one by one, so ask
for the basket rather than each product. Monthly and yearly services are quoted
separately from the up-front total. Nothing is created or charged.

## Billing

| `get_billing_account` | Can we still sell? `past_due` means an invoice went unpaid and credit sales stop until it is paid. Your companies and data are untouched. |
| `list_usage` | What did this client cost us? Every charge and credit, at the price it was billed. |
| `list_invoices` | What have we been invoiced, and what is paid? |
| `list_statements` | What did each month come to? A month without an invoice has not been billed yet. |
| `get_statement` | Which companies are behind a line on this month's invoice? Where the invoice says "State Fee x50", the statement lists the fifty companies. |

Invoice links from the agent are short-lived. Open them when you get them.

## Webhooks and logs

| `list_webhook_deliveries` | Why did our endpoint never get this webhook? A `pending` delivery is waiting for its next attempt, not lost. |
| `get_webhook_delivery` | What exactly did Clemta send in this delivery? |
| `list_request_logs` | Which of our requests failed since this morning? The same record Clemta support reads. |
| `get_request_log` | What did Clemta receive and answer for this `request_id`? Secrets are replaced with `[redacted]`. |

## Everything else

For anything the tools above do not cover, such as a company's tax filings,
requirements, files or calendar, the agent searches the Partner API's reads
with `discover` and runs the one it needs with `execute_read`. Neither can
change anything.

## When something goes wrong

The agent tells you what to do in words. The common cases:

* **The connection is no longer valid.** It was revoked in the
  [partner dashboard](/partner/dashboard). Connect the agent again.
* **No such record.** Check the id, and check the mode. A test connection
  cannot see live companies, and a live one cannot see the sandbox.
* **Rate limited.** Wait a moment and ask again.
